ayni foundation
CONTEXT
Ayni Foundation was founded in 2015 by Davina Mackail and me in 2015. Based in the UK, it offered a decade of shamanic initations, training and retreats to our shamanic sources in Peru.
Ayni is a quechua word meaning sacred reciprocity or “nothing goes one way,” partcularly in regard to Nature. As our ethos, it assured high standards of integrity in our all our offerings.
The jaguar is a central archetype in many shamanic cultures. The stylised jaguar smiley in the logo derives from the prehistoric culture of Chavin de Huantar in Peru, which holds the energies of innumerable ancient initiatins, and a dear place in our hearts.
