UX MATTERS
Context
LexisNexis provides digital legal research tools used by solicitors, barristers and institutional clients.
The platform required structured navigation and search frameworks capable of handling large volumes of legislation, case law, matters and precedents.
Problem
Users needed efficient access to complex legal materials within dense information environments.
Information structures were constantly evolving via LN’s continuous improvement and user feedback channels, and required refinement to improve discoverability and usability of search specification and results interfaces.
My Role
As Senior UX Designer I:
Led IA design for legal research journeys
Conducted usability testing with professional users
Developed structured navigation and taxonomy models
Collaborated with editorial and legal stakeholders.
